CUMULI : Construction d'Une Mémoire du groUpe dans L'Interaction en FAD

Abstract : In distance learning, we are now able to use learning models based on constructivism and collaborative theories. We first give a survey of common asynchronous communication tools and of their limits. We try to define what we consider as the best suitable training situation in order to emphasize the current problems of implementation of such a situation with the existing tools. A new tool named " CUMULI " is then proposed to face some of that difficulties. We are currently developing this tool and present some specifications in this paper. The aim of this tool is to help learners to interact inside their group. " CUMULI " dynamically manages learner profile information (interest and competence level) in order to ensure a pedogically good routing of the learner questions.
