Hypermédias et cartes de concepts pour apprendre avec des métaphores

Abstract : Although metaphors are often used by teachers, this instructional strategy can rarely be found in computer-based learning environments. We propose an innovative learning environment based on this strategy and grounded in a constructivist approach : the learner constructs new knowledge based on his previous knowledge and is actor of his learning. Concept maps and hypermedia are used as tools to support the learning process. In fact we think that those elements are based on common principles (relationship and previous knowledge) and can converge in a tool. We describe the generic structure of this tool, a first prototype designed for computer networks domain, and the experiment carried out with a small group of students.
