Utilisation d'un Ordinateur Portable: Changements Technologiques, Changements Pédagogiques ?

Abstract : The article presents results of a comprehensive study involving professors and students in a laptop use pilot project at the Université de Moncton Faculty of Engineering. Professors favour integrating laptops in their classrooms. Generally, students believe laptops are only slightly more effective than desktops; during the pretest, some did not report any disadvantages; post-test, most found laptops distracting. The article also provides recommendations to consider for a successful laptop project in a study program.
