Des outils technologiques au service d'un tutorat à distance

Abstract : This paper deals with the analysis and the experimental feedback on the use of some technological tools in professional distance learning (« blended learning », that is training consisting of face-to-face moments and distance learning, and « e-learning », that is trainings consisting of uniquely distance learning). It asks more exactly to present the different possible uses of these tools, while contributing in an empirical way to the reflection on the tutoring and support, in the distance adult training. After the general description of a synchronous collaborative tool (the virtual classroom) and of an « intelligent tutoring system » which is able to direct a forum from afar (Amanda), we will present experimental results on the using of these tools in different professional training sessions. At last, we will tackle the question of the practice of distance learning from the link between the use of such tools and the settlement of distance tutoring system.
