Perception de la situation d'apprentissage par le tuteur en ligne

Abstract : This paper presents the design of computer tools dedicated to online tutoring. Their aim is to make easier the perception of student's activities by the tutor. For a learner, distance learning is difficult for several reasons, including the pre-requisite of the ability to take autonomous work and learning. Then the tutor has a double role: to assist the learner in his/her training and to help him/she to acquire autonomy in the target domain, the environment and the task of learning. This kind of follow-up is new for the tutor: he has to teach learning instead of teaching the knowledge. The situations and skills are new. The solution of the problematic of designing environments for this kind of tutoring is to produce models of learning situation and dedicated tools in order to support the perception of the tutor. An iterative conception method is used to elaborate such a model as well as tutoring interfaces for the language learning environment "Croisières".
