Reconnaissance émotionnelle par l'analyse des expressions faciales dans un tuteur intelligent affectif

Abstract : In the classic educational context, the observation and the identification of the learner's emotional state allow the teacher to adapt the lesson, with the aim of improving the quality of the learning process. In computer environment, Intelligent Tutoring Systems (ITS) have to consider relationships between emotion, cognition and action of the learning context. Thus, inspired by cognitive and behavioral models, ITS will be able to provide pertinent tool for efficient and pleasant learning. In order to provide ITS the capacity of considering and managing the emotions of the learner, we propose an architecture which include several agents specialized in emotion recognition, based only on facial expression analysis.
