Un environnement 3D pour faciliter la formation en ligne

Abstract : Interest in 3D virtual worlds is widespread. However, few scientific studies have been conducted which assess the impact of virtual graphic interfaces in distance learning. Study with Canadian is underway which aims to measure the impact of the SmartVR 3D interface with avatars, on their sense of belonging and and their level of perseverance according to their “learning orientation” in the context of distance education. The purpose of the following communication is to present the Learning Content Management System, the 3D virtual interface adapted from the SmartVR platform and used for the on-line course, as well results from the study. Preliminary data show interesting results about their sense of belonging in the context of on-line learning.
