Application de principes cognitivistes et constructivistes à l'enseignement de l'écrit assisté par ordinateur : perceptions des étudiants

Abstract : In this article, we look at the principles of the cognitive and constructivist theories that apply to the teaching of computer mediated writing in a post-secondary setting for learners of French as a second language. The author describes a pilot study that was conducted at the University of Victoria, Canada. She explains that by creating web-based collaborative writing tasks, instructors can truly engage students, increase their motivation and make them more conscious of their own learning strategies.
