La pédagogie en environnement numérique, entre ivresse des mots et rudesse des choses

Abstract : In the past, many men were tempted to bend the reality to their ideas and orders. The catastrophic effects of this propensity led to a withdrawal into principles as cautious as detrimental in matter of creativity. Extranet is threatened by its two pitfalls: on one hand, it accustoms us to get everything immediately, in a purely symbolic world; on the other hand, it incites us to avoid the real world as a precautionary or economical measure. In the two cases, it furthers an erroneous representation of the cognition and a restricted use of the range of the signs. Paradoxically, it can be a fantastic tool of simulation and dialogue, providing that we practice the learning of the constraints, including on linguistic tasks like crosswords.
