Base de données hypermédia pour la révision de l'électricité de seconde : caractéristiques et analyse d'utilisation (Hypermedia database for the revision of basic electricity course for the tenth grade : specifications and use analysis)

Abstract : This article presents a research work about science education. The scope of this research was to design a hypermedia database for the revision of a basic electricity course for the tenth grade, then to analyse, as an experiment, the use of this product made by the pupils. After describing the context, the scope and the methodology of the research, the article presents some of the features of the database that was designed, involving data processing and dealing with specific curricular problems. The article then gives some of the results of the experiment, with regard to the cognitive evolution resulting from the use of the database, the nature of the information consulted, and the mode of access to this information. A possible evolution of the product and new lines for further research conclude the article.
