La psychologie cognitive au service de la conception de l'environnement d'apprentissage AMBRE

Abstract : In this paper, we describe the ILE AMBRE designing process, the purpose of which is to teach methods. This ILE is based on didactic work and uses Case-Based Reasoning (CBR) paradigm to facilitate the learning of abstract knowledge based on problem classes using problems already met during learning. We show how the CBR is relevant for teaching methods and how we adapt it in a first prototype of the ILE. Then, we describe a first cognitive evaluation we conducted in order to test the appropriateness of the prototype to the goals of the AMBRE project. Last we present recommendations for coming developpement.
