Les bibliothèques scolaires vues d'ailleurs, à travers les études d'impact et le modèle des bibliothèques mixtes

Abstract : After the literature review published by VST on information literacy in schools (n°17, April 2006), this chapter explores two issues that particularly caught my attention: - The evaluation of school libraries, especially through the impact on student achievement - Cooperation between school libraries and public libraries, and more specifically the development of joint libraries. This choice is motivated both by the "newness" that such approaches may represent in a French perspective and by the growing interest in impact studies and / or in joint libraries. A number of countries such as United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, but also Australia and the Scandinavian countries are currently focusing on these joint services, while these experiments are sometimes conducted for several decades.
